Assess your top 5 strengths! Self-assessment with cards then Questionnaire

  1. Set aside about 1-1.5 hours. Take your 42-SSS card set, and try to sort them one-by-one into 3 different stacks: 1) Probably my top 5 strengths, 2) maybe top 5 3) Not my top 5
  2. You will most likely find that you had more than 5 strengths in the top 5 category. This is normal, just repeat the sorting process until you can narrow it down to your top 5 (or top 3) strengths.
  3. Optionally: Use this link to fill out a 25-min questionnaire.
    • When you receive your results, compare your top 5 strengths you assessed with the cards with the 5 strengths from the questionnaire. What is your final top 5?
  4. Reflect on the strengths.
    • What strengths did you find that were not your highest but now you feel inspired to develop?
    • How does your life align with your top 5 strengths
    • How could you use them more in the various areas of your life?
      • 1) Personal & Spiritual Growth
      • 2) Romantic, Close Friend, or Family Relationships
      • 3) Work, Career, or Finances
      • 4) Health, Wellness, & Emotional Well-Being
      • 5) Community Life or Social Impact
      • 6) Enrichment: Creative Projects, Adventure, & Exploration
    • What were your lowest 1-3 strengths? How could you team up with other people who can take over the role of enacting these strengths in your stead? Could they inspire you to develop these lower strengths of yours?
